Today is Donald Duck Day, and we’re celebrating with a cool selection of Donald Duck Postage Stamps! Donald Duck is a Disney character known all over the world. There is an on going debate as to when Donald Duck day actually is. Some say its June 9th 1934 because that’s when he made his debut in the cartoon “The Wise Little Hen”. While others contend that March 13th (year unknown) is the actual date because in the cartoon “Donald’s Happy Birthday” Donald’s nephews are trying to decide what to get Unca ‘ Donald for his birthday and on the calendar behind them March 13th is circled. Also Donalds license plate is 313. The birthday of Donald Duck may be questioned but there is no doubt that he is loved by all! Happy Birthday Donald!
