Today is National Find a Rainbow Day! You can find rainbows all over the world. If it happens to be a rainy day, look up to the sky to see if you can find a rainbow. Rainbows are made up of seven primary colors, including red, yellow, orange, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Different nations have different legends surrounding the rainbow. For example in a lot of Native American tribes the rainbow was the bridge that linked the earth to the heavens. Some of the cultures in Eastern Europe saw a rainbow as a sign of death or that trouble was coming. Of course it’s the legend from Ireland I like the best and is the most famous. Most likely because if you could find the end of that rainbow you would find that elusive pot of gold!
However you look at the rainbow you must admit one thing, they are beautiful. So why not add a splash of color to your letters and postcards and add a rainbow stamp today!
